The rate of COVID-19 infections in our community in the past week has risen exponentially.  In an attempt to reduce the spread of infection, the Session emphasizes the need to wear masks properly for the entire time you are inside the church building. Louisville Metro Public Health and Wellness emphasizes that surgical or N95 masks or double layers of cloth masks should be worn to reduce the risk of contracting COVID-19. The church will provide KN95 masks for those who need a better-fitting mask. They will be available at the entrances to the sanctuary.

Sunday School classes will be either canceled or will transition to Zoom. Please look for an email from your Sunday School teacher as to the plans for each class or refer to the email sent each Saturday evening for guidance. We will still hold Agape Kidz, a program led by our Children’s Music Director Darla Talbert, during part of the 11 AM service for children who may be in worship.

If after attending worship you later test positive for Covid 19, we ask that you please contact the pastors or the church office. While your health status will be kept confidential, we will notify those who were seated around you that they may have been exposed to the virus so they can monitor their symptoms and be tested.

We ask for your patience and support during another Covid surge. Some of our members are testing positive and not feeling well. We ask for your prayers for all who are sick and encourage you to share your prayer requests with our pastors or deacons.

We are encouraged by reports that Omicron may peak in the coming weeks and look forward to returning resuming our 9AM service, resuming in person Sunday School and meetings, and singing as a congregation again soon.

Our 11AM service is livestreamed on our Youtube Channel and on our Facebook page. You can find the most recent recorded 11AM service below.
